Հակառակորդը փորձում է նոր ամրաշինական աշխատանքներ ծավալել, ինչը, բնականաբար, չի նպաստում սահմանի տվյալ հատվածում ռիսկերի նվազեցմանը, Aysor.am-ին ասաց ՀՀ ՊՆ խոսնակ Շուշան Ստեփանյանը: «ՀՀ զինված ուժերը կասեցնում են նման գործողությունները և միաժամանակ ձեռնարկում են համապատասխան միջոցներ հետագա սրացումները կանխելու համար», - ասաց նա: Ստեփանյանը նաև ընդգծեց, որ որևէ գյուղի ուղղությամբ հայկական զինված ուժերը կրակ չեն վարել: Շուշան Ստեփանյանը չբացառեց, որ հակառակորդի ակտիվությունը կարող է կապված լինել անցկացվող համատեղ հայ-ռուսական վարժանքների հետ: Ավելի վաղ Ադրբեջանի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտնել էր, որ հայկական զինված ուժերը խախտել են հրադադարը Թովուզի ուղղությամբ, մասնավորապես, կրակ բացելով Ալիբեյլի գյուղի ուղղությամբ:
