Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը սպառնալիքներ է տեղացել Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնի հասցեին՝ կապված Միջերկրական ծովի արեւելքում լարվածության հետ, հայտնում է Associated Press-ը:

Ի պատասխան Միջերկրական ծովում Թուրքիայի գործողությունների Ֆրանսիայի քննադատությանը՝ Էրդողանն ասել է, որ Ֆրանսիայի նախագահն իրեն դարձրել է իր թիրախը:

«Դուք շատ ավելի շատ խնդիրներ կունենաք ինձ հետ: Գործ չունեք թուրք ժողովրդի եւ Թուրքիայի հետ»,- ասել է Էրդողանը:

Ավելի վաղ Էմանուել Մակրոնը հայտարարել էր, որ Եվրոպան պետք է հստակ ու խիստ լինի Էրդողանի կառավարության հետ՝ կապված նրա գործողությունների հետ:

Ե՛վ Ֆրանսիան, եւ՛ Թուրքիան ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ են: Երկու երկրների հարաբերությունները վատթարացել են Լիբիայի հետ կապված զենքի էմբարգոյի ու Միջերկրական ծովի արեւելքում իրավիճակի պատճառով:

Ֆրանսիան պաշտպանում է Հունաստանին եւ Կիպրոսին, որոնք վրդովված են իրենց ջրերում նավթ եւ գազ որոնող թուրքական նավերի հետախուզությունից:
