Երբեմն մարդիկ անտեսում են մանրուքները, դրանք համարելով ավելորդ, մոռանալով, որ դրանք ունեն իրենց խորհուրդը և իրենց նշանակությունը: Այդպիսի մանրուքներից է նաև այն, որ ամուսնական մատանին պետք է անպայաման ձախ ձեռքին կրել:

Դեռևս հնագույն ժամանակներից սկսած, մարդիկ համոզված են եղել, որ ձախ ձեռքի մատնեմատով անցնում է մի երակ, որը գնում է ուղիղ դեպի սիրտը։

Իմանալով այդ մասին մարդիկ որոշել են ամուսնական մատանին հենց ձախ ձեռքի այդ մատին կրել, որպեսզի էլ ավելի մոտեցնեն այն սրտին։

 

 Իհարկե, սա շատ գեղեցիկ պատմությունը է, սակայն իրականում երկու ձեռքերի ֆիզիոլոգիան էլ նույնն են և ոչ մի մատում չկա նմանատիպ երկա։

Չնայած այս նոր բացահայտմանը, ձախ ձեռքին մատանի կրելը պահել է իր խորհուրդը։
