Անհայտ անձը փորձել է ներխուժել հայտնի մոդել Միրանդա Քերի Մալիբուի տուն: Այդ առանձնատանը Միրանդան ապրում է 11-ամյա որդու՝ Ֆլինի հետ: Թիկնապահը, նկատելով պարսպի վրա բարձրացած անհայտ անձին, փորձել է նրան կանգնեցնել, որից հետո դեմքին դանակի հարված է ստացել: Ի պատասխան՝ թիկնապահը մի քանի անգամ կրակել է հարձակվողի վրա, գնդակներից մեկը դիպել է անհայտ տղամարդու գլխին:
Երկուսն էլ տեղափոխվել են Լոս Անջելեսի հիվանդանոց: Առայժմ հայտնի է, որ թիկնապահը հարվածն ստացել է աչքի տակ, նա դանակի մի քանի վիրավորումներ էլ ունի: Հայտնի չէ, թե անհայտ տղամարդն ինչու է ցանկացել մտնել Միրանդայի առանձնատուն: Տղամարդուն մեղադրանք կառաջադրվի։
Հայտնի չէ, թե այդ պահին Միրանդան եւ նրա որդին որտեղ են եղել: Հնարավոր՝ հարձակվողն անօթեւան է:
Միրանդան առանձնատունը ձեռք է բերել 2014 թվականին Օռլանդո Բլումից ամուսնալուծվելուց հետո:
