Այսօր՝ օգոստոսի 18-ին, հրդեհի ահազանգ է ստացվել Արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարության փրկարար ծառայության 9-11 օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոն։ Ժամը 12։25-ի սահմաններում ահազանգ է ստացվել նշված կենտրոն, որ հրդեհ է բռնկվել Զավարյան փողոցում։ Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, հրդեհի վայր են ժամանել ԱԻՆ ՓԾ Երևան քաղաքի փրկարաիական վարչության թիվ 3 հրշեջ-փրկարարական ջոկատից 2 մարտական հաշվարկ։

Այս պահին հրշեջները նշված վայրում, որը պատկանում է գործարար Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանին, աշխատանքներ են կատարում կրակի տարածումը կանխելու ուղղությամբ։ Թե ինչն է եղել հրդեհի պատճառը, պարզ կլինի փորձաքննությունից հետո։ Ըստ նախնական տեղեկությունների՝ տուժածներ չկան։
