ՊՆ մամուլի խոսնակ Շուշան Ստեփանյանը գրել է.

«Հայ-ադրբեջանական պետական սահմանագոտու հյուսիսարևելյան հատվածում հակառակորդի արձակած կրակից մահացու վիրավորում են ստացել զինծառայողներ մայոր Գարուշ Վեմիրի Համբարձումյանը և կապիտան Սոս Փայլակի Էլբակյանը:

Պաշտպանության նախարարությունը կիսում է կորստյան ծանր վիշտը և իր զորակացությունը հայտնում մահացած զինծառայողների ընտանիքների անդամներին, հարազատներին և ծառայակիցներին»:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ավելի վաղ մենք գրել էինք, որ Տավուշում զոհ ունեք։ Տեղեկությունը մեզ փոխանցել էին դիրքերից։

Փորձել էինք պաշտոնապես ճշտել տեղեկությունը՝ պաշտպանության նախարարության հետ կապ հաստատել չհաջողվեց՝ ՊՆ խոսնակ Շուշան Ստեփանյանը չէր պատասխանում զանգերին։
