Ամերիկացի գիտնականները գտել են նոր դեղամիջոց, որն ընդունակ է փրկել կորոնավիրուսի վարակի ծանր ձեւից: Ակալաբրուտինիբ կոչված միացությունը մինչ այժմ կիրառվում էր արյան չարորակ հիվանդությունների դեմ, ասվում է Science Immunology ամսագրում տպագրված հոդվածում:

19 ծանր հիվանդների (նրանցից 8-ը միացված են եղել արհեստական շնչառության սարքին) մասնակցությամբ փորձարկումները  ցույց են տվել, որ Ակալաբրուտինիբը նվազեցնում է ռասպիրատոր դիսթրեսը եւ գերակտիվ իմունային պատասխանը: Արդյունքները պետք է ստուգվեն կլինիկական հետազոտություններով, որոնք անհրաժեշտ են անվտանգ չափաբաժինը պարզելու համար:
