Ստամբուլի քաղաքապետ Էքրեմ Իմամօղլուն հունվարի 6–ին այցելել է Հայոց պատրիարքարան եւ շնորհավորել հայերի Սուրբ Ծնունդը։

Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է Ստամբուլի հայկական «Ակոս»–ը,  Պոլսո հայոց պատրիարք, եպիսկոպոս Սահակ Մաշալյանը հունվարի 6–ին կազմակերպված Սուրբ Ծնունդի ընդունելությանը դիմավորել է նաեւ Ստամբուլի քաղաքապետ Էքրեմ Իմամօղլուին։

Ստամբուլի քաղաքապետը Մաշալյանի խոսքից հետո շնորհավորել է հայերին՝ շեշտելով, որ 2020–ը լինելու է պատրիարքարանի նոր աշխատանքների տարի։

Հայոց պատրիարքարան այցից հետո Ստամբուլի քաղաքապետն այցելել է Յեշիլքյոյի հայկական Սուրբ Ստեփանոս եկեղեցի եւ հանդիպել հայ համայնքի հետ։
