ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի գլխավորությամբ Ռիոյի օլիմպիական խաղերի չեմպիոններ Արթուր Ալեքսանյանը, Միհրան Հարությունյանը, փոխչեմպիոններ Գոռ Մինասյանն ու Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը սեպտեմբերի 19-20-ը եղել են Արցախում։ Հայաստանի մարզական պատվիրակությունն Արցախ է մեկնել ուղղաթիռով։ Տղաները առաջին անգամ էին լինելու հայկական երկրորդ հանրապետությունում և մեծ հետաքրքրությամբ էին սպասում Արցախ հասնելուն։ Ստեփանակերտի օդանավակայանում ՀԱՕԿ նախագահի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը դիմավորել են Արցախի հերոս, ԼՂՀ Պաշտպանության փոխնախարար, Արցախի ազատամարտիկների միության նախագահ գեներալ մայոր Սամվել Կարապետյանը, Հարություն Քուշկյանը և այլք։

Իսկ արդեն Ստեփանակերտում Գագիկ Ծառուկյանին դիմավորել է Արցախի նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանը։ ՀԱՕԿ նախագահը չեմպիոնների, Արցախի ղեկավարության հետ շրջել է Ստեփանակերտի կենտրոնական հրապարակով, այցելել Արցախի ազատամարտիկների միության նորակառույց շենք։ Բակո Սահակյանը, տանիքից ցույց տալով Ստեփանակերտի համայնապատկերը, պատմել է առաջիկա ծրագրերի ու անելիքների մասին։
