Ռուսաստանը շարունակում է ակտիվ դեր ունենալ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցով միջնորդական ջանքերում: Այս մասին ասվում է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ-ի մեկնաբանության մեջ: ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ղեկավար Սերգեյ Լավրովը պաշտոնական այցով գտնվում է Ադրբեջանում:

«Ռուսաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթությունների թվում է ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցով կողմերին աջակցելը, հարցը Ռուսաստանի նախագահի ուշադրության կենտրոնում է: Ելնում ենք նրանից, որ համակարտությունը կարող է լուծվել բացառապես քաղաքական-դիվանագիտական միջոցներով, կողմերի միջեւ երկխոսության ճանապարհով: Կշարունակենք նպաստել կարգավորմանը ինչպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների կազմում, այնպես էլ հաշվի առնելով մեր սերտ կապերը Ադրբեջանի եւ Հայաստանի հետ»,- ասված է մեկնաբանության մեջ:
