Ազգային ժողովը Արթուր Դավթյանին ընտրեց ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազի պաշտոնում: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովի նիստի ընթացքում հայտարարեց ՀՀ ԱԺ ժամանակավոր հաշվիչ հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Սուքիաս Ավետիսյանը:

«Հայաստանի Հանրապետության գլխավոր դատախազի նշանակման համար առաջադրվել էր Արթուր Դավթյանի թեկնածությունը: Ազգային ժողովի 130 պատգամավորներից քվեարկությանը մասնակցել է 103-ը: Քվեաթերթիկներից 3-ը անվավեր են ճանաչվել:

Գլխավոր դատախազի պաշտոնում Արթուր Դավթյանի թեկնածությանը կողմ է քվեարկել 97, դեմ՝ 3 պատգամավոր»,- նշեց Ավետիսյանը:

ՀՀ ԱԺ ժամանակավոր հաշվիչ հանձնաժողովի նախագահը հայտարարեց, որ Արթուր Դավթյանն ընտրվել է գլխավոր դատախազի պաշտոնում:
