100 տարի առաջ Օսմանյան Կայսրությունում հայ ժողովրդի նկատմամբ իրականացված հետապնդումներն ու վայրագությունները պետք է Գերմանիայում դասվեն ցեղասպանությունների շարքին: Այդ մասին Passauer Neue Presse թերթին տված հարցազրույցում նշել է Բունդեսթագի Քրիստոնեադեմոկրատական միություն/Քրիստոնեասոցիալական միություն» (CDU/CSU) խմբակցության ղեկավար Ֆոլքեր Քաուդերը:
«Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագում Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին բանաձևի նախագիծը կքննարկվի հունիսի 2-ին: 100 տարի առաջ տեղի ունեցած դեպքերը պետք է դասվեն ցեղասպանությունների շարքին»,- Արմենպրեսի փոխանցմամբ` ասել է Քաուդերը:
Իր հերթին, թերթը նշել է, որ հունիսի 2-ից հետո գերմանա-թուրքական հարաբերությունները կարող են կտրուկ սրվել: Որպես դրա նախադրյալ` թերթը նշում է Գերմանիայի նախագահ Յոահիմ Գաուկի դիրքորոշումը, ով 1915-ի դեպքերը նախորդ տարի անվանել էր ցեղասպանություն: Բունդեսթագի նախագահ Նորբերտ Լամմերը ևս հայերի հետ կատարվածը բնորոշելիս հստակ օգտագործել էր ցեղասպանություն տերմինը:
