Ավելի քան 40 տարի կինը ամուսնուց գաղտնի պահել էր այս արկղերը նկուղում. Ամուսինը արկղերը գտնելուց հետո հրաժարվում էր հավատալ տեսածին…

Այս ամուսինները ծանոթացել են 1957 թվականին և մի անգամից ինքնամոռաց սիրահարվել…Սիրահարները փորձում էին ամբողջ ժամանակը միասին անցկացնել: Մի օր Բիլը սիրելի կնոջը մի անձեռոցիկ տվեց, որտեղ գրված էր.
—Դու լավագույն բանն ես, որ երբևէ ինձ հետ պատահել է:
Ես քեզ սիրում եմ, իմ թանկագին: Իսկ վերջում դրած էր անվերջության նշան:

Այս օրվանից Բիլը հավատարիմ էր մնում իր իսկ ստեղծած ավանդույթին և 40 տարի շարունակ ամեն օր կնոջը սիրային նամակներ էր գրում:

Ամեն անգամ տղամարդը նոր և ավելի հաճելի խոսքեր էր գտնում, իսկ վերջում դնում էր անվերջության նշանը:
