2019թ. հուլիսի 20-ին, ժամը 18:15-ի սահմաններում, ՀՀ ՊՆ N զորամասի պահպանության տակ գտնվող մարտական դիրքի դիտակետում զինծառայողի մահվան դեպքի առթիվ ՀՀ ՔԿ ԶՔԳՎ ութերորդ կայազորային քննչական բաժնում ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 110-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով հարուցվել է քրեական գործ, կատարվում է նախաքննություն: Այդ մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ Քննչական կոմիտեից:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ավելի վաղ ՊՆ խոսնակ Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել էր, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ԶՈւ-երի զորամասերից մեկի մարտական դիրքում հայտնաբերվել է 2000 թվականին ծնված Համիկ Վարդանյանի դին:

«Ցավով պետք է տեղեկացնեմ, որ երեկ երեկոյան ՀՀ ԶՈւ-երի զորամասերից մեկի մարտական դիրքում գտնվել է 2000 թվականին ծնված շարքային Համիկ Եղիայի Վարդանյանի դին: Հանգամանքներն ուսումնասիրվում են: Ցավակցում ենք մեր զինծառայողի ընտանիքի անդամներին, հարազատներին և ընկերներին»,- գրել էր Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը:
