ՀՀ ազգային ժողովը երկրորդ ընթերցմամբ և ամբողջությամբ ընդունեց անտառները ոչնչացնելու, ապօրինի ծառահատումների համար քրեական և վարչական պատասխանատվությունը խստացնող օրենքի նախագիծը:

Կառավարության կողմից ներկայացված Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քրեական օրենսգրքում փոփոխություններ կատարելու մասին և կից ներկայացված օրենքների նախագծերը քվեարկության դրվեցին հուլիսի 10-ի նիստում: Նախագծով առաջարկվում է նաև ընձառյուծի որսի համար տուգանքը 3 մլն դրամից բարձրացնել 100 մլն դրամի:

Անտառներ, ինչպես նաև անտառային հողերի մեջ չմտնող տնկարկներ դիտավորությամբ ոչնչացնելը կամ վնասելը, որը կատարվել է հրդեհման կամ հանրավտանգ այլ եղանակով, առաջարկվում է պատժել ազատազրկմամբ՝ հինգից տասը տարի ժամկետով: Կամ որոշակի պաշտոններ զբաղեցնելու, կամ որոշակի գործունեությամբ զբաղվելու իրավունքից զրկել առավելագույնը երեք տարի ժամկետով, կամ առանց դրա: Նախագծին կողմ քվեարկեց 101 պատգամավոր:
