Ոստիկանության Դիլիջանի բաժնում նախապատրաստված նյութերը փոխանցվել են Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի Տավուշի մարզային քննչական վարչության Դիլիջանի քննչական բաժին։

Սեպտեմբերի 5-ին Դիլիջանի ոստիկանություն է դիմել Գոշավանքի մոմավաճառ, 58-ամյա Քնարիկ Հարությունյանը և հայտնել, որ սեպտեմբերի 4-ին, ժամը 19։30-ից մինչև սեպտեմբերի 5-ի առավոտյան ժամը 09։00-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում անհայտ անձը կամ անձինք Գոշավանքի վանական համալիրի պատուհանը բացելու միջոցով ներս են մտել և այնտեղից գողացել գանձանակը, որի մեջ, ըստ մոմավաճառի հայտարարության, հավաքված է եղել մոմի վաճառքից գոյացած գումարը։

Ոստիկանությունն ու քննչական բաժինը պարզում են վնասի չափը, ինչպես նաև ձեռնարկում են օպերատիվ-հետախուզական քննչական համատեղ գործողություններ՝ հանցագործությունը բացահայտելու ուղղությամբ։
