Երևանի պետական համալսարանի հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նիստում ԵՊՀ ռեկտորի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար ընտրվեց ակադեմիկոս Գեղամ Գևորգյանը: Մայիսի 30-ին տեղի ունեցած ԵՊՀ հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նիստում Գեղամ Գևորգյանի օգտին քվեարկեցին հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի 32 անդամներից 21-ը:

«Կոչ եմ անում բոլորս աշխատենք հանուն համալսարանի զարգացման: Թե երբ կլինի ընտրությունը, ով կընտրվի, ով կաշխատի, դա երկրորդական հարց է: Եկեք բոլորս զարգացնենք համալսարանը»,- ասաց Գևորգյանը:

Գեղամ Գևորգյանը ՀՀ գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի ակադեմիկոս է, պրոֆեսոր: Երևանի պետական համալսարանի նախկին պրոռեկտորն է: Առաջադրվել էր նաև իրավաբանական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր, ԵՊՀ Քաղաքացիական դատավարության ամբիոնի վարիչ Վահե Հովհաննիսյանի թեկնածությունը:

Մայիսի 23-ին Արամ Սիմոնյանը հրաժարական է ներկայացրել ԵՊՀ ռեկտորի պաշտոնից
