Շատերը կարծում են, կատարյալ քաշը դա այն է, որը ունեցել են 18 տարեկանում: Ցանկալի է այն պահպանել  ողջ կյանքում:

Սակայն եթե դրանից հետո 20 – 30 տարվա ընթացում չի ստացվել պահպանել այդ քաշը,  ապա հարկ չկա ձգտել դրան վերադառնալ, քանի որ   յուրաքանչյուր 10 տարի օրգանիզմի էներգածախսերը  նվազում եմ մոտ 10%-ով և համապատասխանաբար  յուրաքանչյուր 10 տարվա ընթացքում մենք   ավելացնում ենք մոտ  5-7 կգ քաշ:

Ավելորդ քաշից պետք է ազատվել խնամքով, ոչ կտրուկ, օրգանիզմը սթրեսի չենթարկելու համար:
