Չզարմանաք, որ մեկ տարի հետո 2017 թվականի ընտրությունների հետ կապված քրեական գործ հարուցվի: Այս մասին, այսօր՝ մայիսի 28-ին Սարդարապատի հուշահամալիրում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը` հավելելով, որ նման քրգործեր կարող են հարուցվել նաեւ այլ ընտրությունների վերաբերյալ: 

Նրա խոսքով, 1996 թվականից սկսած մինչեւ վերջին ընտրությունները Հայաստանում չի եղել որեւէ ընտրություն, որը ՀՀ քաղաքացու մոտ վստահություն է վայելել:

«Ես այն մարդն եմ, որ լրագրողներին կոչ եմ արել Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին եւ Սերժ Սարգսյանին երբեք նախագահ անունով չդիմել, որովհետեւ երբեւիցե Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը չի հաղթել Կարեն Դեմիրճյանին, Ստեփան Դեմիրճյանին: Սերժ Սարգսյանը չի հաղթել Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանին, առավել եւս Րաֆֆի Հովհաննիսյանին»:
