Սիրելի հայրենակիցներ, այսօր մենք նշում ենք մեր սիրելի մայրաքաղաքի՝ Երևանի 2800-ամյակը: Սրտանց շնորհավորում եմ աշխարհասփյուռ մեր բոլոր հայրենակիցներին այս հոբելյանի կապակցությամբ, մաղթում, որպեսզի որքան հինավուրց՝ նույնքան երիտասարդ մեր մայրաքաղաքը իրապես դառնա 21֊րդ դարի պահանջներին համապատասխանող մայրաքաղաք։ Դրա համար անհրաժեշտ են մեր բոլորիս միասնական ջանքերը, քանզի անկախ ամեն ինչից՝ Երևանը մեր բոլորիս սրտի մայրաքաղաքն ու տունն է, որի շարունակական զարգացման ու բարգավաճման համար պատասխանատու ենք բոլորս հավասարապես: Սիրելի երևանցիներ, ևս մեկ անգամ սրտանց շնորհավորելով բոլորիս մեր սիրելի մայրաքաղաքի տարեդարձի կապակցությամբ՝ մաղթում եմ նրան դինամիկ զարգացում և հարատև բարգավաճում։ Շնորհավոր տո՛նդ մեր Երևան՝ համայն հայության մայրաքաղաք։
