Սեպտեմբերի 26-ին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Զոհրաբ Մնացականյանը Նյու Յորքում հանդիպել է Սիրիայի հարցով ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր քարտուղարի հատուկ բանագնաց Ստաֆֆան Դե Միստուրային:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԳՆ լրատվության և հանրային դիվանագիտության վարչությունից, զրուցակիցներն հանգամանալից անդրադարձել են Սիրիայում տեղի ունեցող զարգացումներին, մտքեր փոխանակել երկրում տիրող հումանիտար իրավիճակի և դրա բարելավմանն ուղղված հնարավոր քայլերի շուրջ:

Նախարար Մնացականյանը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը բազմիցս է արտահայտել իր լուրջ մտահոգությունը Սիրիայում ճգնաժամի և դրա հետևանքով Սիրիայի մեր հայրենակիցների անվտանգության կապակցությամբ: Նա շեշտել է, որ Հայաստանը պատրաստ է շարունակել և ընդարձակել մարդասիրական առաքելությունը՝ ուղղված Սիրիայի հայ համայնքի հրատապ կարիքների բավարարմանը։
