Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատանքը ժողովրդավարության խթանման գերազանց օրինակ է. Եվրամիության հայտարարությունը

Վարշավայում տեղի ունեցող ԵԱՀԿ բարձրաստիճան համաժողովի ընթացքում տարածվել է Եվրամիության նոր հայտարարությունը խոսքի և խաղաղ հավաքների ազատության վերաբերյալ: Եվրոպական միության և դրա անդամ երկրների անունից այդ հայտարարությունը սեպտեմբերի 17-ին հրապարակել է Միացյալ Թագավորության ներկայացուցիչը:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի գրասենյակից, հայտարարությունում առանձին ընդգծվում է նաև Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի և նրա աշխատակազմի դրական դերն այս տարի տեղի ունեցած խաղաղ հավաքների մշտադիտարկման հարցում: «Այն գերազանց օրինակ է, որը ցույց է տալիս, թե ինչպես կարող է անկախ մշտադիտարկումը խթանել ժողովրդավարությունը»,- նշված է հայտարարությունում։

Հայտարարությամբ շեշտվել է խոսքի և խաղաղ հավաքների ազատության կարևորությունը, այդ հարցում մարդու իրավունքների ազգային հաստատությունների ու քաղաքացիական հասարակության կարևոր դերը, ինչպես նաև անդրադարձ է կատարվել այդ հարցերում Եվրամիության մտահոգություններին։
