«Էլենի օրագիրը» սերիալի գլխավոր հերոսներից Մաքսը` Էդգար Իգիթյանը, երեկ մկրտվել է: BRAVO.am-ի հետ զրույցում դերասանը խոստովանել է, որ վաղուց ուներ նման մտադրություն, սակայն ինչ-ինչ պատճառներով արարողությունը հետաձգվել է.«Փաստորեն, այնպես ստացվեց, որ մկրտությունս հարսանիքիցս առաջ եղավ»:

Էդգարը մկրտվել է Արաբկիրի նորակառույց Սուրբ Խաչ եկեղեցում.«Իմ մանկության, դպրոցական ընկերը` Հայկը (դիզայներ Արփինե Կոշտոյանի ամուսինը,-հեղ.) դարձավ կնքահայրս: Առաջինը հենց Հայկի մասին մտածեցի, քանի որ մեր ընկերությունը տարիների պատմություն ունի եւ այդպես էլ շարունակվելու է»,-նշել է նա:

Դերասանի խոսքով` միշտ է հավատացել Աստծուն եւ այդ առումով իր համոզմունքներում ոչինչ չի փոխվել մկրտությունից հետո, սակայն այժմ իրեն ավելի հանգիստ եւ լավ է զգում:
