Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինայնի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ Աֆղանստանի նախագահ Աշրաֆ Ղանին հիշել էր Աֆղանստանի արքայազններից մեկի հայկական ծագումնաբանությունը: Այս մասին Facebook-ի իր էջում գրել է ՀՀ վարչապետի մամուլի քարտուղար Արման Եղոյանը:

«Խոսքը աֆղանական Թուրքեստանի կառավարիչ սարդար Իսհաղ խանի մասին է (1880-88), ով Աֆղանստանի էմիր Մուհամմադ Ազիմ խանի եւ Քաբուլի հայ համայնքի ղեկավար՝ Թեմուրի դստեր (ում անունը չի պահպանվել) որդին էր:

Իսհաղ խանը հայտնի էր նաեւ «արմանիզադե» («հայի որդի») կոչումով, որը արձանագրված է նաեւ Աֆղանստանի այդ ժամանակվա պալատական պատմագիր Ֆեյզ Մուհամմադ Քաթիբ Հազարայի «Սիրաջ ալ-Թավարիխ» («Պատմությունների լուսատու») երկում»,-գրել է նա:
