Ճապոնիայում տեղացած հորդ անձրեւների եւ դրանց հարուցած սողանքների զոհերի թիվը հասել է 120-ի, տեղեկացնում է Kyodo գործակալությունը:

Նշվում է, որ վերջին տեղեկություններով՝ անհայտ կորած է համարվում 61 մարդ: Փորձագետների կանխատեսմամբ՝ զոհերի թիվը  հետագայում եւս կարող է աճել:

Այսօրվա դրությամբ իշխանությունների եւ արտակարգ իրավիճակների ծառայությունների խորհուրդները տարհանման մասին պահպանվում են Ճապոնիայի արեւմտյան հատվածի 19 պրեֆեկտուրայի վրա, իսկ դա գրեթե 6 միլիոն մարդ է: Մարդիկ, որոնք ավելի վաղ լքել էին իրենց տները, գտնվում են հատուկ տարհանման կենտրոններում:

Որոնողական գործողություններն իրականացվում են վաղ առավոտից մինչեւ ուշ գիշեր: Հազարավոր մարդիկ շարունակում են արգելափակված մնալ գետերի վարարումների պատճառով: Փրկարարական աշխատանքներում, ընդհանուր առմամբ, 73 հազար հրշեջ, ոստիկան եւ ինքնապաշտպանական ուժերի զինվորներ են ներգրավված:
