Վանաձորում օգոստոսի 1-ին, նախնական տվյալներով, ինքնասպանություն գործած Արարատ Կարապետյանը նախկինում մի քանի անգամ զանգել է կնոջն ու ասել իր առաջիկա քայլի մասին: Այս մասին հայտնում են NEWS.am-ի աղբյուրները:

Մեր տեղեկություններով՝ Կարապետյանը կնոջը հեռախոսազանգով ասել է, որ պատրաստվում է ինքնասպանություն գործել ֆինանսական խնդիրների պատճառով: Դեպքի օրը, սակայն, նա կնոջը չէր զանգել:

Ավելի վաղ հայտնել էինք, որ Վանաձորում օգոստոսի 1-ին ողբերգական դեպք է տեղի ունեցել: NEWS.am-ի թղթակցի փոխանցմամբ, ժամը 10.30-ի սահմաններում Սուրբ Մարիամ Աստվածածին եկեղեցու հարեւանությամբ գտնվող կամրջի տակ հայտնաբերվել է 43-ամյա Արարատ Կարապետյանի մարմինը: Նա Վանաձորի հարկային տեսչության իրավաբանն էր: Մինչ այդ նա աշխատում էր Հայկական զարգացման բանկի Վանաձորի մասնաճյուղում:
