«Ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Հայ կարտոֆիլագործների հա­մար տարեվերջը կարող է խիստ եկամտաբեր լինել, և դրա պատ­ճառն այն է, որ մեր տարածաշր­ջանում այս տարի երաշտի պատ­ճառով բերքը լավ չի եղել:

Մասնա­վորապես՝ գյուղմթերքների հետ կապված խնդիրներ կան 60-միլիոնանոց Թուրքիայում, որն իր կար­տոֆիլի պահանջարկը լրացնելու համար գնումներ է կատարում հարևան երկրներից: Հայ մասնա­գետները պնդում են, որ հայկա­կան կարտոֆիլը կարող է բարձր գներով վաճառվել ՌԴ-ում կամ Վրաստանում, այնտեղից էլ կարող է արտահանվել Թուրքիա: Դա նշանակում է, որ այս տարի հայ սպառողը կարտոֆիլի համար ևս թանկ է վճարելու:

Մեր աղբյուրնե­րը պնդում են, որ այս պահին ար­դեն Վրաստան կարտոֆիլ է ար­տահանվում 130-150 դրամի սահ­մաններում, ըստ որոշ կանխատե­սումների՝ հունվար-փետրվարին ներքին շուկայում դրա գինը կա­րող է հասնել մինչև 300 դրամի»:
