Երեւանում արդեն շուրջ 18 ժամ շարունակվում է լարված իրավիճակը, մի խումբ զինված անձինք դեռեւս գտնվում են ոստիկանության պարեկապահակային ծառայության գնդի տարածքում եւ պատանդ են պահում ոստիկանության աշխատակիցների։

Ոստիկանությունն ու ԱԱԾ-ն շրջափակել են տարածքը։ NEWS.am-ի թղթակիցը հայտնում է, որ արդեն մի քանի ժամ որեւէ բան չի փոփոխվել, ոստիկանները մեծ ուժեր են կուտակել։

ՀՀ փոխոստիկանապետ Հունան Պողոսյանն ավելի վաղ հայտնել էր, թե գրոհի հրաման չի տրվել ոստիկաններին, իրենք շարունակելու են բանակցել՝ իրավիճակը խաղաղությամբ հանգուցալուծելու համար։

Հիշեցնենք, որ հուլիսի 17-ի առավոտյան մի խումբ զինված անձինք Էրեբունիում գրոհով վերցրել են ՊՊԾ գունդը եւ պատանդ են վերցրել ոստիկանության սահմանափակ թվով ծառայողների: Մեկ ոստիկան՝ նույն գնդի փոխհրամանատար Արթուր Վանոյանը զոհվել է: Վիրավորվել են եւս չորս ոստիկաններ՝ ոստիկանության գնդապետ Արամ Հովհաննիսյանը, փոխգնդապետ Հրաչ Խոստեղյանը, ոստիկանության ենթասպա Գագիկ Մկրտչյանը, օպերատոր Ռոբերտ Հայրապետյանը, նաեւ ՊՊԾ գնի գրոհին մասնակցած անձանցից մեկը։
