Հուլիսի 21-ին, տեղական ժամանակով ժամը 02:31-ին (Գրինվիչի ժամանակով` հուլիսի 20-ին 22:31-ին) ՀՀ ԱԻՆ Սեյսմիկ պաշտպանության ծառայության սեյսմոլոգիական ցանցի կողմից գրանցվել է հյուսիսային լայնության 36.780 և արևելյան երկայնության 27.310 աշխարհագրական կոորդինատներով (Հունաստան-Թուրքիա սահմանային գոտի, Կոս կղզուց 5 կմ հարավ-արևելք), օջախի 10 կմ խորությամբ, 6.6 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ ԱԻՆ կայքից։

Ստորգետնյա ցնցման ուժգնությունը էպիկենտրոնում կազմել է 9 բալ:

Ըստ նախնական տվյալների կայքերում զետեղված տեղեկության Հունական Կոս կղզում մահացել է երկու և տուժել՝ մոտ 120 մարդ և ևս 70-ը՝ հարակից կղզիներում:
