Թեհրանը չի բացառում պատասխան հարվածներ հասցնել Պարսից ծոցի պետությունների էներգետիկ ենթակառուցվածքներին, եթե նրանք օգնեն ԱՄՆ-ին փոխհատուցել Հորմուզի նեղուցի շրջափակման հետևանքները։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Իրանի Ազգային անվտանգության բարձրագույն խորհրդի քարտուղար Մոհսեն Ռեզային, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

«Եթե ԱՄՆ-ի ռազմավարությունը հարևան երկրների էներգետիկ ենթակառուցվածքների օգտագործմամբ պատերազմը ձգձգելն է, այդ կառավարությունները չպետք է կարծեն, թե կարող են մասնակցել Իրանի դեմ տնտեսական պատերազմին՝ առանց իրենց ռիսկի ենթարկելու», - ընդգծել է նա Drop Site պարբերականին տված հարցազրույցում։

Միևնույն ժամանակ Ռեզային ճշգրտել է, որ Իրանի նպատակը տարածաշրջանի էներգետիկ համակարգի ոչնչացումը չէ, այլ այնպիսի իրավիճակների թույլ չտալը, երբ Իրանի տնտեսությունը գտնվում է հարվածի տակ, իսկ այդ հարձակումներն ապահովող հարևան երկրների ենթակառուցվածքները մնում են անձեռնմխելի։
