Աթենքը մերժել է Կիեւի՝ Patriot համակարգերի մինչև 200 հատ PAC-2 հրթիռ տրամադրելու խնդրանքը։

Հունաստանի վարչապետ Կիրիակոս Միցոտակիսը չի հաստատել Patriot համակարգերի հրթիռները Ուկրաինային փոխանցելու հնարավորությունը։ Նա ընդգծել է, որ թեև Աթենքը կշարունակի աջակցել Կիեւին, դա կարվի միայն այնպես, որ չվնասվեն Հունաստանի սեփական պաշտպանական կարողությունները։

Վարչապետը նշել է, որ իր երկիրն արդեն իսկ տրամադրել է հակաօդային պաշտպանության զգալի միջոցներ։ «Մենք կանենք հնարավոր ամեն ինչ՝ Ուկրաինային աջակցելու համար, առանց Հունաստանի սեփական պաշտպանական կարողությունները թուլացնելու։ Մենք գտնվում ենք անվտանգության տեսանկյունից զգայուն տարածաշրջանում և ունենք նաև այլ պարտավորություններ, սակայն մենք Ուկրաինայի կողքին ենք և միշտ ձգտում ենք անել այն ամենը, ինչ կարող ենք», - ասել է Միցոտակիսը։

Ըստ հունական «Կատիմերինի» (Kathimerini) պարբերականի՝ ուկրաինական կողմը խնդրել է Աթենքին տրամադրել մինչև 200 հատ PAC-2 հրթիռ։ Ուկրաինայում ենթադրել են, որ քանի որ այդ զինամթերքը Հունաստանի ռազմաօդային ուժերի սպառազինության մեջ է արդեն 23 տարի, ապա դրանցից մի քանիսի ծառայության ժամկետը կարող է մոտենալ ավարտին։

Ինչպես ավելի վաղ հայտնել էր Bloomberg-ը, ՆԱՏՕ-ի և ԵՄ-ի դաշնակիցները դեռ այս ամառ սկսել էին հորդորել Հունաստանին և Իսպանիային կիսվել Ուկրաինայի հետ իրենց ունեցած որսացող հրթիռների պաշարներով։
