«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Արթիկ խոշորացված համայնքի ավագանու առաջիկա ընտրություններում լուրջ մրցակցություն է սպասվում։ Բացի գործող համայնքապետից, ընտրություններին մասնակցում են «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության թեկնածու, գործարար Արթուր Աստոյանը, նախկին համայնքապետ Մխիթար Վարագյանը և «Հայրենիք» կուսակցության թեկնածու Լևոն Վահրադյանը։

Տեղում վստահություն կա, որ հիմնական պայքարը ծավալվելու է գործող համայնքապետի և «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության թեկնածու Արթուր Աստոյանի միջև։ Մեր տեղեկություններով, Աստոյանին աջակցում են նաև ընդդիմադիր այլ քաղաքական ուժեր, ինչը զգալիորեն ուժեղացնում է նրա դիրքերը։ Իսկ եթե հաջողվի իրականացնել հետընտրական ընդդիմադիր միավորում, ապա հնարավոր է Արթիկում ՔՊ-ին զրկել իշխանությունից։
