Եվրամիության հետաքրքրությունը Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացման հարցում միտումնավոր ցուցադրական բնույթ է կրում, դրա նպատակն է՝ վնաս հասցնել Ռուսաստանին և լուծել սեփական աշխարհաքաղաքական խնդիրները: ՌԻԱ Նովոստի-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ եվրոպական խնդիրների դեպարտամենտի տնօրեն, Արկտիկական խորհրդում ՌԴ ավագ պաշտոնատար անձ Վլադիսլավ Մասլեննիկովը։

«Երևանի ուղեգիծը, հաշվի առնելով ԵՄ օրենսդրության և ԵՏՄ իրավունքի սկզբունքային անհամատեղելիությունը, չի կարող մեզ մոտ հարցեր չառաջացնել։ Ճիշտ այնպես, ինչպես Եվրամիության միտումնավոր ցուցադրական հետաքրքրությունը Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացման նկատմամբ», - ասել է Մասլեննիկովը։

Նա ընդգծել է, որ հաշվի առնելով Եվրամիության անկեղծորեն հակառուսական քաղաքականությունը, որն ինչքան գնում, այնքան ավելի շատ է վերածվում անպայմանագրային և ագրեսիվ տրամադրված ռազմաքաղաքական բլոկի, պետք չէ պատրանքներ ունենալ դրա իրական մտադրությունների վերաբերյալ։

«Բրյուսելը երբեք չի տարբերվել ալտրուիզմով։ Նրա առաջնահերթ նպատակը բնավ Հայաստանի տնտեսական բարգավաճումը չէ, այլ մեր երկրին վնաս հասցնելը և սեփական այլ աշխարհաքաղաքական խնդիրների լուծումը», - նշել է դիվանագետը։

Հայաստանի խորհրդարանը 2025 թվականի մարտին ընդունել է Եվրամիությանը Հայաստանի անդամակցության գործընթացը սկսելու մասին օրենք։ Ռուսական կողմը նշել է, որ միաժամանակյա գտնվելը և՛ ԵՄ-ի, և՛ ԵՏՄ-ի մաքսային միությունում անհնար է։ Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ բանակցությունների ընթացքում մեկնաբանել է Հայաստանի՝ ԵՄ մտնելու մտադրությունը՝ նշելով, որ ԵՄ-ին անդամակցելու ընթացակարգը սկսելու մասին օրենքի ընդունումը նշանակում է ԵՏՄ-ից դուրս գալու հայտարարություն: Ռուսաստանը կարծում է, որ Հայաստանում այս հարցով հնարավորինս շուտ պետք է հանրաքվե անցկացվի։
