Գերմանացի թենիսիստ, աշխարհի երկրորդ ռակետ Ալեքսանդր Զվերևը հաղթեց 2026 թվականի ԱՄՆ բաց առաջնությունը։

Նյու Յորքում կայացած «Մեծ սաղավարտի» եզրափակչում Զվերևը չորս սեթում հաղթեց ամերիկացի Բեն Շելտոնին։

3 ժամ 36 րոպե տևած հանդիպումն ավարտվեց 6:3, 7:6 (7:2), 5:7, 6:2 հաշվով։

29-ամյա Զվերևը իր կարիերայում առաջին անգամ հաղթեց ԱՄՆ բաց առաջնությունը։ Սա նրա երկրորդ «Մեծ սաղավարտի» տիտղոսն է՝ 2026 թվականին Ռոլան Գարոսում տարած հաղթանակից հետո։

Զվերևը նաև առաջին գերմանացին է, որը նվաճեց այս տիտղոսը լեգենդար Բորիս Բեքերից հետո (1989 թվականին)։
