ԵԱՏՄ-ից դուրս գալու դեպքում Հայաստանը, որը հայտարարել է ԵՄ-ին անդամակցության հայտ ներկայացնելու գործընթացի շուտափույթ մեկնարկի մասին, կարող է բախվել այն հանգամանքին, որ նման վերակողմնորոշման գինը չափազանց բարձր կլինի։ Այդ մասին գրում է «Իզվեստիան»։

«Եվրամիությանը անդամակցությունն ու նրա հետ լիարժեք առևտրային հարաբերությունների մեկնարկը կպահանջեն տարիներ, եթե ոչ տասնամյակներ։ Այդ ամբողջ ընթացքում ծաղիկների և գյուղատնտեսական արտադրանքի արտահանման մակարդակը չափազանց ցածր կլինի։ Նախկինի պես Եվրամիության «վզից կախված կլինի» Ուկրաինան, որին առաջին հերթին կցուցաբերվի աջակցություն, այդ թվում՝ առևտրի ոլորտում, իսկ Հայաստանին, չնայած խոստումներին, կօգնեն մնացորդային սկզբունքով։

Սեփական վատթարացող տնտեսական վիճակի ֆոնին ԵՄ հնարավորություններն անսահման չեն, մինչդեռ նույնիսկ առանց Երևանի ԵՄ-ին անդամակցության թեկնածուի կարգավիճակ ունեն ինը երկիր։ Օրինակ՝ Թուրքիան իր հերթին սպասում է 1987 թվականից։ Այն քաղաքական օգուտները, որոնք կստանա Փաշինյանի արևմտամետ կառավարությունը, և անձնական աջակցությունը, որը կցուցաբերվի վարչապետին, կարժենան երկրի բնակչության կենսամակարդակի անկմամբ», — գրում է «Իզվեստիան»։
