Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրությունների նախագահ շեյխ Մոհամեդ բին Զայեդ Ալ Նահյանը և ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հեռախոսազրույց են ունեցել, որի ընթացքում քննարկել են երկկողմ համագործակցությունն ու Մերձավոր Արևելքում տեղի ունեցող վերջին զարգացումները։

Ինչպես հայտնում է Էմիրությունների պետական WAM լրատվական գործակալությունը, կողմերը քննարկել են ԱՄԷ-ի և ԱՄՆ-ի միջև համագործակցության խորացման և փոխադարձ շահերին ծառայող հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման հնարավորությունները։

Զրույցի ընթացքում երկու երկրների ղեկավարները նաև մտքեր են փոխանակել Մերձավոր Արևելքում ստեղծված իրավիճակի և տարածաշրջանային վերջին զարգացումների վերաբերյալ։ Գործակալությունը քննարկված կոնկրետ հարցերի վերաբերյալ այլ մանրամասներ չի հրապարակել։
