Պարսից ծոցի երկրները հասկանում են, որ Իրանը մշտապես կվերահսկի Հորմուզի նեղուցում նավագնացությունը, գրում է The Wall Street Journal-ը (WSJ):

Պարսից ծոցում Իսլամական Հանրապետության հակառակորդները դժգոհ են Հորմուզի նեղուցով նավերի անցման մեխանիզմից, որի վրա աշխատում են Օմանը և Իրանը, սակայն հասկանում են, որ նման գործարքը նախընտրելի է, քան ԱՄՆ-ի և Իսլամական Հանրապետության միջև ռազմական գործողությունների շարունակությունը, ինչը կվտանգի տարածաշրջանի էներգետիկ ենթակառուցվածքը։

Բացի այդ, Պարսից ծոցի երկրների ներկայացուցիչները հաշտվել են հավանականության հետ, որ «Իրանի հետ ցանկացած գործարք անձեռնմխելի կթողնի Իսլամական Հանրապետության հրթիռային ծրագիրը», ինչպես նաև տարածաշրջանում Թեհրանի կողմից աջակցվող զինված խմբավորումների խնդիրները:
