Ես հրաժարական չեմ տա և կկանգնեմ իմ տեղում։ Այս մասին ասել է Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանը։

«Մենք լիովին համակարգված ենք զինված ուժերի հետ։ Ես հրաժարական չեմ տա և կկանգնեմ իմ տեղում։ Եթե ես հրաժարական տամ, ես պաշտոնապես կհայտարարեմ այդ մասին»,- ասել է Փեզեշքիանը։

Նրա հայտարարությունները հնչել են բարձրաստիճան հոգևորական Մոհամմադ-Բաղեր Խարազիի ելույթից հետո։

Նա ասել է, որ Փեզեշքիանը հրաժարական տալու սպառնալիք է հնչեցրել 28 անգամ, սակայն դադարեցրել է դա անել այն նախազգուշացումից հետո, որ նրա հաջորդ հրաժարականը կընդունվի։

Մայիսին Iran International պարբերականը հայտնել էր, որ Փեզեշքիանը հրաժարականի դիմում է ներկայացրել Խամենեիի աշխատակազմ՝ հայտարարելով, որ իր կառավարությունը մեկուսացվել է կարևոր որոշումների ընդունումից, իսկ գործերի նկատմամբ վերահսկողությունն իրենց ձեռքն են վերցրել կոշտ գծի կողմնակիցները։
