ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ չեղարկել է Իրանի դեմ նախատեսված ռազմական հարվածները՝ պայմանով, որ կողմերը կարողանան արագ համաձայնության հասնել։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Al Jazeera-ն։

Թրամփի պնդմամբ՝ Իրանը և Մերձավոր Արևելքի մի շարք երկրներ իրեն խնդրել են ժամանակավորապես հրաժարվել հարվածներից։

ԱՄՆ նախագահը նաև հայտարարել է, որ հնարավոր համաձայնության հիմնական շրջանակն արդեն համաձայնեցված է։ Նրա խոսքով՝ պայմանավորվածությունները նախատեսում են նաև Հորմուզի նեղուցի լիարժեք վերաբացումը։

Թրամփը նշել է, որ որոշումը կախված է բանակցությունների արագ ընթացքից՝ չբացառելով ռազմական տարբերակին վերադառնալու հնարավորությունը, եթե համաձայնություն ձեռք չբերվի։

Իրանը դեռևս հրապարակայնորեն չի հաստատել Թրամփի հայտարարությունը հնարավոր համաձայնության շրջանակի վերաբերյալ։
