Ուկրաինային աջակցող երկրները ՆԱՏՕ-ի և ԱՄՆ-ի PURL նախաձեռնության շրջանակում 1 մլրդ դոլար կհատկացնեն զենքի մատակարարման համար, հայտնել են լեհական լրատվամիջոցները՝ Բրյուսելում Ուկրաինայի հարցով Կոնտակտային խմբի նիստի արդյունքների հիման վրա։

PURL նախաձեռնությունը 2025 թվականի հուլիսի 14-ին հայտարարել էին ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը և ՆԱՏՕ գլխավոր քարտուղար Մարկ Ռյութեն։ Այն նախատեսված է ամերիկյան արտադրության սպառազինության, այդ թվում՝ ՀՕՊ միջոցների, զինամթերքի և պահեստամասերի գնման համար։

Ուկրաինայի համար ամերիկյան սպառազինության գնումների ֆինանսավորման նախաձեռնությունն ի հայտ եկավ այն բանից հետո, երբ ԱՄՆ վարչակազմը հրաժարվեց շարունակել Կիևին անվճար զենքի մատակարարումը։
