Կատարը Իրանին առաջարկում է 12 միլիարդ դոլարի ֆինանսական աջակցության փաթեթ՝ իրանական ակտիվների շուրջ վեճը լուծելու բանակցությունների շրջանակներում, գրել է Mehr-ը։

Ըստ գործակալության՝ առաջարկը ներառում է Կատարում պահվող իրանական 6 միլիարդ դոլարի միջոցների ազատում, ինչպես նաև լրացուցիչ 6 միլիարդ դոլարի վարկային գիծ։

Ըստ տեղեկությունների՝ Թեհրանը սկզբում ցանկանում էր ստանալ սառեցված ակտիվների կեսը բանակցությունների սկզբում, իսկ մնացածը՝ վերջնական համաձայնության գալուց հետո։ Սակայն ԱՄՆ-ն մերժել է այս տարբերակը։ Ի պատասխան՝ Կատարը առաջարկել է այլընտրանքային կարգավորում։ Ազատված 6 միլիարդ դոլարը կմնա բացառապես մարդասիրական նպատակներով, մինչդեռ լրացուցիչ 6 միլիարդ դոլարը կտրամադրվի Կատարի կողմից կառավարվող վարկի կամ վարկային գծի տեսքով, իսկ իրանական կողմը վերջնականապես կորոշի, թե ինչպես օգտագործել այդ միջոցները։
