Իսրայելի պաշտպանության ուժերը շաբաթ օրը հարձակվել են հարավային Լիբանանի վրա, այն բանից հետո, երբ իսրայելական զինվորականները կոչ են արել տարհանել տարածաշրջանի 20 շրջանների բնակիչների։

Հարվածներ են հասցվել Նաբաթիեհ քաղաքի և դրա մոտակա գյուղերի վրա։

Հրեական պաշտպանության բանակը հայտնել է, որ վերջին 24 ժամվա ընթացքում Իսրայելի ռազմաօդային ուժերը հարվածել են Լիբանանի հարավում «Հըզբոլլահ» խմբավորման ավելի քան 70 թիրախների։

Ըստ տեղեկությունների՝ թիրախների թվում են եղել «Հըզբոլլահ»-ի զինյալների կողմից իսրայելական ուժերի և Իսրայելի տարածքի դեմ հարձակումներին աջակցելու համար օգտագործվող կայանքները և շենքերը։
