Հանրային ծառայությունները կարգավորող հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Մեսրոպ Մեսրոպյանը հայտարարել է, որ 2027 թվականի սկզբին ռուսական կողմի հետ պայմանագրի ավարտից հետո Հայաստանը կարող է դիտարկել գազի ներմուծման հնարավորությունը Ադրբեջանից, Իրանից և Թուրքմենստանից։

Նրա խոսքով՝ նույնիսկ սակագների հնարավոր բարձրացման դեպքում երկիրը չի հայտնվի այնքան ծանր վիճակում, որքան 1990-ականներին, քանի որ Հայաստանում արդեն բավականաչափ զարգացած է արևային էներգետիկան։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, ըստ նրա, անցումային փուլը առանց դժվարությունների չի անցնի, սակայն լայնածավալ հոսանքազրկումներ չեն սպասվում։

Մեսրոպյանը նաև ընդգծել է, որ գործող սակագները կպահպանվեն ևս կես տարի, ինչը կբացառի մոտակա ժամանակահատվածում ճգնաժամային իրավիճակ։
