Իսրայելի ցանկացած հետագա գործողություն կարժանանա կոշտ պատասխանի։ ԱՊԱ-ի Թեհրանի բյուրոյի հաղորդմամբ, այս մասին ասվում է Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարության հայտարարության մեջ։

Հայտարարության մեջ նշվում է, որ ապրիլի 8-ի հրադադարի բազմակի խախտումների և Իրանի ու Լիբանանի դեմ Իսրայելի ու ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից շարունակվող ռազմական գործողությունների ֆոնին, երկուշաբթի երեկոյան իրանական ուժերը հարվածել են մի քանի ռազմական թիրախների՝ օգտվելով ՄԱԿ-ի 51-րդ հոդվածով սահմանված ինքնապաշտպանության իրենց իրավունքից։

Նախարարությունը շեշտել է, որ Լիբանանի հրադադարը ապրիլի 8-ի համաձայնագրի անբաժանելի մասն է, և ԱՄՆ-ն պատասխանատվություն է կրում այդ համաձայնագրի խախտման և դրա հետևանքով տարածաշրջանում լարվածության սրման համար։

Թեհրանից նաև նշել է, որ Իսրայելի ցանկացած հետագա գործողություն կհանդիպի Իրանի կողմից կոշտ պատասխանի։
