ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ Իրանում ռազմական գործողությունները և դրան հաջորդող Հորմուզի նեղուցի շրջափակումը հարված կհասցնեն համաշխարհային տնտեսությանը, բայց այն հետագայում լիովին կվերականգնվի։ Այս մասին նա ասել է Fox Businеss-ի հետ հարցազրույցում:

«Հարված կհասցվի։ Մենք արդեն վեց շաբաթ է՝ անցնում ենք այս ամենի միջով։ Հարված (տնտեսությանը) կլինի, բայց այն, կարծում եմ, լիովին կվերականգնվի», - ասել է նա Fox Business հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում։

Թրամփը նաև համոզված է, որ նավթի ու գազի գները կնվազեն մինչև նոյեմբերին կայանալիք ԱՄՆ միջանկյալ ընտրությունները:

«Ես կարծում եմ՝ մինչև միջանկյալ ընտրությունները դրանք կլինեն այնքան, որքան մինչև այս, գուցե՝ ավելի ցածր», - նշել է Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահը։
