Իվատե պրեֆեկտուրայի իշխանությունները մոտ 560,000 հավ են սպանդի ենթարկելու՝ տեղական ֆերմայում թռչնագրիպի բռնկում հայտնաբերելուց հետո, հաղորդում է Kyodo լրատվական գործակալությունը։

Նշվում է, որ բռնկումը հայտնաբերվել է Կանեգասակի գյուղի թռչնաբուծական ֆերմայում։

Չնայած ձեռնարկվող միջոցառումներին՝ Ճապոնիայում այս հիվանդության բռնկումները պարբերաբար բնույթ են կրում։ Ամեն աշուն և ձմեռ ոչնչացվում են վարակված միլիոնավոր հավեր։
