ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը դիտարկում է Իրանի միջուկային օբյեկտներին լայնամասշտաբ հարված հասցնելու հնարավորությունը: Այս մասին հայտնել է ABC հեռուստաալիքը՝ հղում անելով իր աղբյուրին։

Ըստ ստացված տվյալների՝ Վաշինգտոնի վարչակազմի ղեկավարը քննարկել է Իրանի դեմ գործողությունների տարբեր տարբերակներ, որոնցից մեկը հզոր հարվածն էր միջուկային, ինչպես նաև ռազմական և կառավարական օբյեկտներին։

Ավելի վաղ The Wall Street Journal թերթը, հղում անելով իր աղբյուրներին, հայտնել էր, որ Թրամփը դիտարկել է նաև Իրանի ռազմական և կառավարական օբյեկտներին սահմանափակ հարված հասցնելու հնարավորությունը։ Նպատակը Թեհրանին Վաշինգտոնի համար շահավետ միջուկային գործարքի պայմաններին դրդելն է՝ միաժամանակ խուսափելով մեծամասշտաբ հարձակումից։ Ըստ նրանց տեղեկությունների՝ նման հարվածը կարող է հասցվել մի քանի օրվա ընթացքում։

Նշվում է, որ ամերիկյան առաջնորդը դեռ վերջնական որոշում չի կայացրել Իրանի դեմ հարձակման վերաբերյալ։ Փետրվարի 19-ին Թրամփը հայտարարել էր, որ առավելագույնը 15 օր ժամանակ է տալիս Իրանի հետ համաձայնության հասնելու համար։
