Հիմնվելով այն փաստի վրա, որ Կանադան անիրավորեն, ապօրինաբարև համառորեն հրաժարվել է հավաստագրել Gulfstream 500, 600, 700 և 800 ինքնաթիռները, որոնք երբևէ արտադրված ամենամեծ և տեխնոլոգիապես ամենաառաջադեմ ինքնաթիռներից են, մենք այսուհետ չեղարկում ենք Bombardier Global Express-ների հավաստագրերը և Կանադայում արտադրված բոլոր ինքնաթիռների հավաստագրումը մինչև այն պահը, երբ Gulfstream մեծ ամերիկյան ընկերությունը լիովին հավաստագրվի, ինչպես պետք է լիներ տարիներ առաջ, սոցիալական էջերում գրել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը։

«Ավելին, Կանադան փաստացի արգելում է Gulfstream-ի արտադրանքի վաճառքը երկրում այս նույն հավաստագրման գործընթացի միջոցով։ Եթե որևէ պատճառով այս իրավիճակն անմիջապես չշտկվի, ես Կանադայից գանձելու եմ 50% մաքսատուրք Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգներ վաճառված բոլոր ինքնաթիռների համար», - նշել է Թրամփը։
