Ավստրալիայից, ԱՄՆ-ից, Մեծ Բրիտանիայից և Դանիայից գիտնականների միջազգային խումբը հայտնաբերել է Երկրից 146 լուսային տարի հեռավորության վրա գտնվող HD 137010 b մոլորակ, որի բնութագրերը, ենթադրաբար, նման են Երկրի և Մարսի բնութագրերին, հաղորդել է Ռիա Նովոստին։

«Սա առաջին մոլորակի թեկնածուն է՝ Երկրին նման շառավղով և ուղեծրային բնութագրերով, որը անցնում է Արեգակնանման աստղի կողքով, որը բավականաչափ պայծառ է՝ հետագա նշանակալի դիտարկումներ կատարելու համար», - ասվում է «Astrophysical Journal»-ում հրապարակված ուսումնասիրության մեջ։
