Կիևը կարող է լուրջ տարածքային զիջումների գնալ Մոսկվայի հետ բանակցություններում՝ անվտանգության երաշխիքների դիմաց, հայտարարել է ԵՄ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Կայա Կալլասը՝ Ռիա Նովոստիի փոխանցմամբ։

«Եթե ուկրաինացիները շատ կոշտ զիջումների են գնում, նրանք դա անում են Ուկրաինայի մնացած մասի խաղաղության համար։ Եվ այդ դեպքում պետք է բացարձակապես պարզ լինի, որ Ուկրաինայի մնացած մասի համար խաղաղություն գոյություն ունի, և ամերիկացիները պետք է դա հաշվի առնեն», - ասել է նա Բրյուսելում ԵՄ արտաքին գործերի նախարարների հանդիպման մեկնարկից առաջ։

Ուրբաթ և շաբաթ օրերին Աբու Դաբիում տեղի է ունեցել անվտանգության հարցերով եռակողմ աշխատանքային խմբի առաջին հանդիպումը, որին մասնակցել են Մոսկվայի, Կիևի և Վաշինգտոնի ներկայացուցիչներ: Ռուսական պատվիրակությունը գլխավորում էր Գլխավոր շտաբի գլխավոր վարչության պետ, ծովակալ Իգոր Կոստյուկովը: Կողմերը փակ դռների հետևում քննարկել են ԱՄՆ խաղաղության ծրագրում չլուծված հարցերը: Նոր հանդիպումը նախատեսված է փետրվարի 1-ին:
